The Atlanta Braves are set to host the New York Yankees in a highly anticipated matchup. The Braves have been one of the top teams in baseball this season, reaching 70 wins and holding an eight-and-a-half game lead over the second-place Philadelphia Phillies.

Chris Sale will take the mound for the Braves tonight, looking to continue his impressive form. He has a 12-6 record with a 2.08 ERA and a 1.02 WHIP, striking out 143 batters this season. His performance in July was particularly notable, allowing just six runs over 27 innings.

The Yankees, meanwhile, will turn to Gerrit Cole for the start. Cole has been on the injured list for part of the season but has returned to form in recent months, allowing three or fewer runs in each of his last six outings.

The Braves have a strong lineup that can beat teams with speed, contact hitting, power, and a solid defense. While their pitching staff has had some concerns, Sale's presence helps to alleviate those worries. The Yankees, meanwhile, are still trying to find ways to replace the injured Aaron Judge, who has been out for months.

Tonight's game is expected to be a closely contested matchup between two of baseball's top pitchers.
