Hasan Piker, a popular far-left streamer and co-host of the comedy and pop culture podcast "Fear&," was seen singing a mocking rendition of the song "We Are Charlie Kirk" at a recent live show. The song, which is often used online to mock conservative commentator Charlie Kirk, was released in 2025 after Kirk's assassination in Utah. Piker, who has become a polarizing figure in Democratic Party circles, led a cheering crowd in singing the song, which includes lyrics such as "We carry the flame" and "He spoke the truth when the cost was high."

Piker's performance drew a strong reaction online, with some critics accusing him of being insensitive and hurtful. Turning Point spokesman Andrew Kolvet described Piker's actions as "pure, unadulterated evil," while Washington Free Beacon reporter Chuck Ross called him a "trash human being." Piker had previously spoken about the impact of Kirk's assassination on him, and was scheduled to debate Kirk just days after the shooting.

The song "We Are Charlie Kirk" is a Christian power ballad that was released shortly after Kirk's death. It is often used online to mock Kirk and conservatives, and Piker's performance of it has been widely criticized. Piker's influence over the Democratic Party has become a major media story in the 2026 cycle, with many prominent candidates having campaigned alongside him.

Piker's co-hosts on the "Fear&" podcast could be seen laughing on stage as Piker sang the mocking rendition of the song. After the show, Piker posted a photo of the event on social media with the caption "carried the flame tn," which is one of the song's lyrics. Piker has also reposted an account that criticized his critics for being hypocritical, pointing out that they had previously celebrated Kirk's murder.

Fox News Digital reached out to Piker for comment, but did not receive a response.
